"According to published data, Bluetech 45 bulk carriers globally outperform all similar designs in this size class with regard to fuel-efficiency. Thanks to this, we have managed to improve fuel-efficiency to exceptionally low levels and this has allowed us to fully focus on our company’s business performance”

“We have been working with Bluetech since the start of their journey. We are sailing with nine of their bulk carrier designs and been extremely happy with the performance. In 2021 we placed an order for four more ships from Yangzijiang shipyard"

Bulk carriers

All our designs are based on the latest hydrodynamic research, using the top of the line CFD tools combined with extensive model testing and renown expertise.

Our sailing designs save their Owners approximately 1,5 mt/day when compared to best, modern competition and 5 mt/day when compared to the vessel they have replaced (according to published data). This represents a saving between 375 kUSD and 1.25 mUSD annually for each vessel for their Owners. In addition, CO2 emissions are reduced by 1200-4000 mt/vessel yearly, helping significantly their Owners in their pollution reduction efforts.

Currently available standard ship designs include six different handy or handymax bulk carriers: the Bluetech 25, Bluetech 43, Bluetech 45, Bluetech 56, Bluetech 65 and Bluetech 88. Additionally there are multipurpose ship designs available within the Bluetech series, such as BT66 MPV and BT87 MPV.
