On 14th of December 2016 there was the official delivery ceremony at Jiangsu Hongqiang Marine Heavy Industry of first of the series of the Bluetech 42 ships ordered by Navibulgar. Ship was given the name “RUEN” by her godmother Mrs. Kremena Angelova. M/V Ruen had proven her designed technical capabilities in the sea trials earlier this autumn.
The main benefits of the Bluetech 42 design are with the larger hold volume and the bigger deadweight than its competitors combined with a very low fuel consumption. She has outstanding ‘consumption to hold volume’ and ‘consumption to deadweight’ ratios, in the range of best in the world of the sailing fleet.
