Spirit of Tasmania IV & V (TT-Line) for RMC (Rauma Marine Constructions)

Spirit of Tasmania IV and V are passenger ferries, designed to operate between Australia and Tasmania. Both vessels are built by Rauma Marine Constructions Ltd (RMC) and are intended to navigate the challenging weather conditions of the Bass Strait.

Bluetech scope of work was done by Bluetech’s own teams in Helsinki, Vietnam and India:

Ship main particulars:

  • Hull basic and detail design (complete hull design)

  • Outfitting detail design for different public areas, staircases and cabin areas

  • NAPA Steel model of full ship

  • 3D modelling and workshop drawings

  • ​3700 m cargo lanes

  • 1800 passengers

  • 212 m length oa.

  • 31 m width

  • 7 m design draught
